This morning I had all the scraps on the table for sorting by colour. DH looks at the mess and says "You can't take it all with you when we move, you know"
Reply "If not, I'm not coming either."

So I am looking for someone to adopt me and give me a home with all my stash. In exchange I can offer cleaning, cooking (I make a mean lasagna) or baby sitting. Please? I can't live without my fabrics!

Darling lady, I am sure when it comes down to it, he will gladly take you with him. Just tell him to leave his tools or guns or knives and he might understand...something he loves. ROFL. Hope it all works out. Otherwise, I have room here in USA TExas for you. HUGS♥♥

If you're COOKING, I'm offering a home in the country among the cow pastures, sunsets, and quiet!!! Though I'm single, the two of us will be crowded as heck, but as I live in my studio, who cares?! We'll move outside on the porch or under the tree in great weather; come on over!

I can offer you a room in Florida! Just have to warn you that I have two boys so it can get noisy sometimes and they eat a lot, but at least they leave the sewing room alone.

Oh - should I show your post to my husband. Someone else to help with the kids and cleaning. I think he would drive out and pick you up. Ha Ha Ha

Hey,

I will adopt you. It has been 7 years since I have been to Italy and I do so miss it...and the food. I will even share my scraps and stash in exchange for pasta of any kind.

:)

Well, Michigan isn't bad, lived here all my life. Have a 9x9" room in the dungeon, rest of it is full of my stash and machines, etc. Of course we will have to move "his" stuff out of that room to where, donno. But there is nothing like setting up quiltin racks outside on a nice day(no rain or breeze) and chatting with a friend while tieing off quilts.
