Default Two QB Members went to the Long Beach International Quilt Show Yesterday

I, carslo and Raine54RN meet for the first time yesterday and then traveled to the Long Beach Quilt Show. It was so nice to meet someone from here on the board, and we enjoyed a great day together at the show. We then went back to my home - I showed Raine a few quilting things, and hopefully the June Tailor Shape Cut Plus I showed her will make quilting a bit easier for her. She was back on the road this morning to her home a bit further north with plans to meet up again in the not too distant future Thanks QB for introducing us

My cousin usually goes and sends me a bunch of pictures. I can't wait to see them. Amazing work that I have seen in the past and I am sure this year was just as spectacular.

My sister lives in the area, and the show is on my list of things I must do.

How fun!! I really wanted to go!! I have problems walking and did not want to have to scrounge up a wheel chair for the show. That and I spent too much money in Oregon during the time of the Sisters show, I couldn't really afford to go. I think it is the last year that it will be in Long Beach. Heard it was moving to Portland.

Oh, you lucky ladies!! I'm fortunate to be going to the DesMoines show with a friend. We will be driving to another part of the state to catch a bus chartered by a quilt guild. One of the QB members told us about this trip and invited us to stay with her the night before we catch the bus and the night we get back. I'm so anxious to meet her!! People on this board are so generous and helpful!
