Hi Guys,

Any news on the new Bernina's from your side of the pond yet?

Hugs

I have seen pics on the Yahoo group. It is a combo of the 4 and 600 series. Only one has embroidery, but it includes some of the features of the 830, like virtual positioning of the design.

What I've heard so far: only the 580, which has 9mm stitch width, will have embroidery capabilities, with a module. The 530 and 550QE, will have 5.5mm stitch width. The machines look very similar to the 3 series, except that the 5 series is full-sized and the 3 series are 3/4 sized. The 430, 440, and 640 are to be discontinued.

They look nice. I'd have thought they'd make a larger harp on these though...

One of our employees who has an 830 and a 440 and absolutely loves them both, sewed on the 550 at Bernina University. She told me " I think I just may be trading in my 440!" She was very impressed with the machine!
