Default Bernina 550 QE is Mine!

My 30 year old son is working up in Deadhorse Alaska. He is up there for 6 weeks at a time, then 2-3 days off then back on for 6 weeks working on the gas pipline. We paid for his school and testing to be a welding inspector. For mothers day this year he called our local Bernina store and bought me a Bernina 550 QE! What a surprise! I had our car broke into at quilting guild last year and my sewing machine was taken, along with my finished paper pieced blocks and rulers and notions. I am just over the moon about this. I never thought I would own a Bernina! Wish he was here so I could give him a big hug. We have had our moments through the years so this was totally unexpected! Just had to share.

Congratulations on your new Bernina and the fact that it was a gift from your son.

How wonderful! Congratulations on raising a great son, you'd be surprised how many parents don't have adult kids to do something nice for them. How disgusting someone would break in cars at a guild meeting for sewing items.

You have done a great job in raising a thoughtful and loving son. I have a Bernina and you will love yours as much as I love mine.

Serious blessings being poured out on you right now! Awesome, thoughtful son; fabulous gift. I have the 150QE and it's a workhorse extraordinaire!
