Default Bernina 830 and 930 feet

Does anyone know if the set of 930 feet will fit on a Bernina 830. I just purchased a Bernina 830 and there is a listing for Bernina 930 feet on CL.

Are you talking about the older machine?? It seems that many listing include both machine for feet being sold on eBay:

You have to be so careful because a newer generation of Bernina were created some using the same number as previous machines. I own a 1020 and a 1530 so since they are from the same series, I can use my feet on either one of my babies. Good Luck.

IF they have eyes on the feet. They should have 2 or 4 eyes to work on the new 830. The eyes look like a piece of metal attached near the top of the foot with crystal like things set into it. You can also look on the bernina web site and they will tell you.

I'm hoping the feet that I purchased will fit this machine. The book shows 830 831 832

I believe the feet are referred to as old style versus new style. The Bernina 830 record and 930 record use old style.

I concur with elnan. I have a Bernina 930 Record and I always refer to it as such to avoid confusion with any newer model that might have the same number.

I just bought a 1/4" piecing foot for my Bernina 930 Record and was told the feet for the older machines come in a RED box as opposed to a WHITE box.
