The 440 was my second Bernina so I didn't feel like I needed a class for it, and I bought it online so that's just as well!

If you're interested, the mastery guide can be downloaded from some of the US dealers' websites. It's the first link on the page, titled Mastering Your Bernina/Bernette Sewing Machine Workbook:

There are also some newer ones I saw called My Bernina, the sewing ones are:

Broken foot? Broken hand? So sorry ladies! Was reading b/c of my interest in the 440, but couldn't resist saying I hope you heal completely and quickly.

I think the class manual is different than the regular manual. I went thru the links posted and they dont look like anything that I have in my manual.... But they do look interesting...

The class manual is good. It is a workbook you follow page by page.

The machine is NOT touchy. Follow the manual step by step. Just play with it. iT'S FUN!
