Many of us in the "snow belt" spend a lot of time looking ahead.

I've noticed lately that there are several folks here from western/central/upstate (the REAL upstate, ny Poughkeepsie).

Wouldn't it be fun to plan a get together someplace? A park with pavillions or recreation hall where we could meet, do show and tell... Dish to pass ... Shop hop...

I don't drive any more in the snow that I have to. Was thinking late spring/summertime.

The one April is getting together would be six hours away - I'm at the opposite side of the state. Unless it gets moved...

There are three great shops around Syracuse - and it's pretty centrally located. Since I am near Binghamton, I can be anywhere in the state in 3 hours, or close, so I'm pretty open to anywhere you want.
