I have a Bernina 180 and can't figure out how to do a setting on the machine so that I don't have to back stitch at the beginning and end of my stitching but to have the machine just tack in place a few stitches. Can anyone help? Thanks Kim

I don't think that's a possibility. Your machine can't read that it's at the end of the fabric. I'm programmed to just hit the reverse button as needed to tack.

Look for an icon that looks like knot. I have the 640 not sure if yours has the same icon, but I did find this...

There is a group, [email protected] and they offer all kinds of help for Bernina owners. If you do a search for it in Yahoo Groups you will probably find it and then you can join.
