Wink Best Books for Easy Bargello & Scrappy Quilts

I would like some recommendations for books on EASY Bargello & Scrappy Quilts. I would like to try some & need something with lots of pictures & easy to follow instructions. I have only been quilting for 1 1/2 yrs. so would appreciate any advice given. Thank you.

Bargellos are easy so any book would do. i recommend a class because you get to understand the process easier than books describe and it really help me understand my books, but i love eileen wrights book twist and turn bargello but haven't made one yet. I made one of my teachers patterns

Scraps and Shirttails by Bonnie Hunter. I've made 1 quilt top and am working on my second. Her instructions are very clear.

Another option is to take the online class at www.quiltuniversity.com. The first 'basic' class is "Bargello Seasons" and they teach 4 different Bargello - placemat size. All 4 are different and employ different techniques, and it's a great way to learn the technique. The instructions are delivered online via PDF so you can print and keep, there is an area that the class can post questions for each other and the teacher, and you can upload photo's of your fabric selections and the teacher will help you choose and arrange the fabric, and finally you can upload your finished projects.

My avatar is from the second class "Bargello Blues" where yet another technique is used, and the second part of the class the teacher helps you design your own bargello.

I just saw some bargello designs on sale at an internet site. If you PM me, I'll forward the site address to you. The patterns are not expensive. Now, I have not tried one yet, so I don't know if they are easy, difficult, or any details.
