Several weeks ago I asked about the small craft irons and received many suggestions. I bought one that I wasn't too fond of because it wouldn't stand up when I wasn't using it and the cord was really, really short. Went on the search for a different type and found one I love!!!! It has a long cord, gets hot quickly and also steams. I appreciate when others share something they've found that is a good product so thought I'd do the same. I got mine at Ebay for $18 which included shipping and handling. Amazon also has them.

I had this iron too, but it didn't get hot enough for me...so I freecycled it!

I've seen these irons and wondered how they worked. Thanks for letting us know--now I'll get one.

I bought this iron on ebay on Mon the 6th of June (the day after this thread was posted). $18, free S&H, just like Kim. It arrived on the 7th! Yes, 1day! And it is great. It gets very hot. The cord is very long and hard-wired into the iron. It stands securely. I am in love with it already. I had another very small iron that had a short cord that would not stay plugged into the iron, the iron wouldn't stand securely, and it only got warm. It will go into the trash tomorrow...when I find it...if it hasn't already been tossed.
