Default Best fabric /die cutting machine?

I have a Cricut I've used for years for scrapbooking but can't seem to get it to make intricate cuts on fabric very smooth. Im having a milestone birthday in August (50) and I'd like to get a die cutter that works well with fabric.

Now for my delima, I've had a Accuquilt Go but due to shoulder issues it got to be too painful to crank out the designs. So I need suggestions on a more 'user friendly' machine please.

Thank you all!

I got a Sizzix Big shot pro for my birthday. I chose this one for several reasons:
1. It can use Accuquilt GO dies, Sizzix Dies, and some Accuquilt Studio Dies
2. Is is reported to be easier to turn than the Accuquilt Go (although I cannot attest to that since I have never used an Accuquilt go.

Cons:
It is not portable. You need a dedicated space for it.

You might want to get Ebony Love's book - The big little book of fabric die cutting tips. It compares the accuquilt go, sizzix big shot, sizzix big shot pro, accuquilt studio. It also has good tips and hints for die cutting fabric.

The Vagabond is electric. No turning required.

I would suggest something like the Brother Scan-N-Cut or the Silhouette for easy intricate design cuts on fabric. No dies to purchase, no hand cranking. I have the Brother and live it!

The brother scanncut cuts fabric way better than the cricut IMHO. I also have a sizzix which can be expensive and limiting sizewise unless you buy multiple dies whereas the brother scanncut you can resize blocks. I have only used it a little but can really see its potential

I thought the Brother Scanncut would be ideal for appliques.

I would probably get the Accuquilt Studio. With adaptors, you could use all of you Go! dies. It is supposed to be easier to crank than the Go! Because you can cut so many pieces with one pass, I would find someone to spend an hour once a month to cut pieces out for me. You could plan ahead of time on colors, dies, etc. The biggest disadvantage of the Studio is that it is heavy and needs a dedicated space. I would be careful of height placement to make it really easy to crank without shoulder stress.

I can confirm that it is easier to crank than the accuquilt go. I have had both and the big shot pro wins, hands down. My husband helped me build a custom rolling stand for my BSP.

Big shot pro is much easier to crank than the Go and will take dies from several companies. I have the Scan and cut but have not tried it yet.

I bought the scan n cut too but I sent it back. I wanted it for fussy cutting and it wasn't cutting right. I've since learned that there's a way to calibrate it but I really didn't need it anyway.
