Does your quilting guild give you a 10% discount card? I just joined a guild and they give you a 10% discount card and you take it to Joann's. The lady at Joann's will give you a special card that has a bar code on it so you can get 10% off of all of your purchases.

So everytime you buy something get 10% off of total purchases at the store.

When I joined the F & P quilter's club I got a card like that. Only thing was whenever I'd use it at one of the JoAnn's here I got hassled. It's expired now.

That is a good question, I think I will ask JoAnn's near us if they do that for guilds!

Yes, our guild here in Vallejo, CA gave us all cards from Joanns and I use it regularly. Every little bit helps.

Yes!! and use it @ the LQS too. Every bit helps.
Quiltluvr: I would let F&P know what happened to you. They work out that deal with whem and you buy no means shouldn't be harrassed by them. Even tho it has expired let them know.
Sorry to hear about that:{

I hate when clerk's act like it is coming out of their own pocket. If I've pd for something ,I'm going to use it. I usually pour on the kindness and how nice the product is and how sweet she is.Most of the time it works but there is always there is a sour one in the bunch. I need a " Marsye picture" for this . lol lol lol

You just have to bring a guild membership in to joann's for the card. It expires every august but its worth getting again. The store here had them info about it with the mailing signups.

I belong to ASG and Desert Quilters. I got a Guild Card and Jo Ann's honors it on ALL non-sale items. I wish all the fabric stores would honor guild cards.
