Open toed and blanket stitch on some. I've also used my walking foot with big needle hole for zigzag.

Thanks for the link Lea, that looks interesting!

I normally satin stitch, but have some that a turned edge and sewn with invisible thread may work better. just have to be careful and not mix up my invisible thread with my water soluble thread.

I use an open toe applique foot and put the needle all the way to the right when blanket stitching. Fabric then just rides along the edge of the fabric.
