    Well I've tried all the methods above and then I found a product called Printable Fabric by Avery...it is actual fabric and prints beautifully and as far as I can tell holds up well and this is now my new method of printing photos and labels for my quilts....you can actually design right on Avery site......

    I used Printed Treasures and there has been no loss of ink. My son is an avid washer and overdryer, so I know it hasn't been handled gently. That printer was a HP inkjet.
