I've seen a lot lately about where to get the best prices for quilting fabric, but nothing about where to find the best prices on quilting notions (such as needles, rulers, marking pens, etc). I am teaching a homeschooler hand quilting class and I need to get supplies inexpensively. TIA!

I know I get coupons from Michael's crafts and Joann's fabric to help with my cost of supplies.

If you have a Hobby Lobby, they usually have a 40% off coupon (about every other week). As it gets closer to Christmas, their 40% coupon is every week. At least it was last year.

Joanns also has an educators discount card. Gives you 15% off anything you don't have a bigger coupon to use. Go to Customer Service and have something to prove you're an educator. If you don't (volunteer position) ask them what they would need. (I would call and ask to speak to store manager)

If you have a Tuesday Morning near you they often have notions at a good price, but it takes just checking on them often.

I have one. Love it! Just sent out a note to our homeschool group detailing how to get one, too.

I didn't know that Michaels has quilting supplies. I'll have to check them out. Thanks!
