    Default Pencil Mark

There's a small pencil mark (#2 pencil) on a piece of white quilting fabric (of course it's white). How do I remove it? Thanks.

I find that ZOUT, which you can purchase in the super market is a great stain remover. I have had much success with it. Hope you find something that works.

Try a TIDE-to-Go stick - worked for me recently on pencil marks & white fabric.

That's what I use to mark my quilts all the time. I do wash after quilting and have never had a problem with the pencil coming out. If you're not planning on washing, I'd go with the other suggestions already given.

I've been looking for a product that my daughter told me about. Someone she works with in a middle school cafeteria told her about it. My daughter found it...not in with the laundry products but in with the cleaning products in the grocery store. She said it's either WHINK or WINK. Her daughter is in Culinary Arts...her junior year in high school. So she must wear a white chef's coat every day. My daughter said she has tried everything to get out some of the tough food stains. In talked with the woman at work she told her to get this...she did...and it worked. She said you can not see anything after she used it on the stains and then put the coat/coats through the wash cycle. I was at the same grocery chain store...different area...and my husband and I looked the whole way up and down the aisle and we could not find it.

I bought a stain remover called "Grandma's Secret" stain remover. It is wonderful. It removed stains that had been washed and dried numerous times. (Food stains on the front of knit shirts.) I bought it at the LQS.
