best thread for handi quilter ss16
I am needing to order other color threads to use with my ss16. What do you recommend by experience as the best thread and where is the best place to buy. Cheap price but good quality. thank you in advance

I have a new Handi Quilter. I purchased some thread from Filtec last year at the Houston International Quilt Festival. This thread is made in the USA and sews beautifully. I use it in the bobbin and as the top thread. Wonderful color selection and hardly any lint in the bobbin casing. You can go online to order. I buy the large comes with 5500 yards of thread. My two friends with the sweet 16 also love this thread.

There isn't a "best" thread. My S16 has used metallics, polyester embroidery thread (RA, Floriani, and Isacord), poly quilting thread (SoFine), heavy cotton (King Tut), and any number of 40 weight cotton threads (Aurifil, Gutermann, others). The S16 will take them all, as long as you get comfortable adjusting the tension. Just pick the thread you like.
