Sorry you hurt your foot, but I would wear shoes. I hope you have had a Tetanus shot recently, if you haven't be sure you do since it was metal you hurt your foot with.

So sorry for your pain . I vote to wear flip flops while in sewing room keeps those nasty items out of your feet.

Neither- it's have bright colored tools so you canfind them and a hook to hang them on

I vote for shoes. I don't even let DH in the room whitout him as he is a magnet for sharp things and in my sewing room carpet there are always pins that have escaped.

Well, because you are excited about the creativeness it is hard to stop and pick up the clutter on the floor, but it only takes seconds, and is very much worth it, in safety.
I have a cordless dustbuster I use.
