I'm planning to purchase a Clover Bias Tape Maker and am undecided regarding the 1" versus the 2" notion. As I am beginning, I wondered which is easiest and most practical. With this item, is the new Simplicity Bias Tip useful? I'm thinking the tape maker cuts the fabric and the tip folds it. Is this correct?

I have and use the 2 inch. I used the 1 inch for a few smaller projects. like it just don't use it quite as often

Nope. The tape maker only folds the fabric--you have to cut it yourself. :(

Thanks, Bernie. My wishful thinking has taken over again. I'm ordering the 2" Clover!
