    i also do the fold in half i think it is personal preference there is more than one way to skin a cat as the saying goes. Not only one right way to do something.

    I do the same binding as most of you do. It is actually called a French binding. It makes the binding a little bit more sturdy.

    Thanks for the information on the quilt tips. I didn't notice that at the store. I have found the Fabric Depot has them onsale at 60.00 which is nearly 10.00 cheaper than Joanns. So, I may just go ahead and get one.

    I used to cut my strips 2 1/4 but this past year I've been doing them 2 1/2.......so not sure which tip to get......another decision...... ;)
