I don't think I have asked this as of yet. But has anyone made a bible book cover or now where I can find a pattern?

I made bible covers for my whole family, but it was a few years ago. I didn't have a pattern. Just cut fabric large enough to go around the front and back of the bible with a seam allowance. Sewed a pocket to the front and back to tuck the cover in and finished the remaining seams by folding under. Mine had fabric handles added and my sons was made out of an old pair of jeans. Sorry, no pattern just flew by the seat of my pants. I know, this is as clear as mud.

That sounds easy enough thank you. I also want to try (if I can) to put maybe a zipper in one. But if not the cover with handles is just as nice.

Little Hud has the right idea. But I would suggest that you lay the Bible out open ontop of the fabric and give yourself a little extra in the width. When you get it made you will need a little extra room for when the Bible is closed and most people tend to stuff papers in them so allow a little extra.

You can add pockets in the inside or on the out side. If you want directions for adding a zipper let me know. It is too much info to add here.

I don't really know...I just searched Bible Sayings and it came up. I downloaded the whole file cuz I think I might may some for our church bazaar. elibrary instructions include a holder for tablet in the back but don't know if I'll include that.
