Default "Big Momma"(?) batting

Several years ago my Mom made me a quilt with a "Big Momma" batting. Does this name, "Big Momma" translate into any currently named batting? I'm speaking of 1985-1991ish vintage.

All I can add is that this was at least twice as thick as other battings she normally used. I don't know if it was cotton, poly, wool.

I'm thinking this might have been a brand name.

Mom has passed away so I can't ask her......

Shari

I use a high loft poly batting, it isn't as high (thick) as the manufacturer thinks it is. Higher than most others. I do have some thicker but not tried to quilt it yet. I was thinking of making a comforter with it and just tying it. Haven't got to it yet. I don't know the name Big Momma and not heard of it. Maybe someone will be along later that will know about it.
