I usually run my thread through Thread Heaven when using regular hand quilting thread. Hadn't given it much thought about the perle cotton. I'll give that a try.

I did a big stitch many years ago and liked the look. Back then the thing to do was make the stitches 1/2 inch. When it went through the washer the thread and fabric shifted. Looked like loose threads. When I put it through the dryer everything evened out again thankfully.
