Default Looking for Masonic patterns

I need to make a quilt with some Masonic symbols on it. I'm not sure I would do a decent job if I tried to make up the designs myself. If you've made an applique quilt with Masonic symbols, and would let me borrow or purchase the designs, please let me know. Thanks!

As the daughter of a Mason, I'm here to cheer you on
and will look forward to seeing your quilt when completed.
Sorry, that I can't help you with patterns and such.

Some suggestions ...

There are some good line drawings online that you could work with.
Let your printer/copier be your friend for enlarging to the size you want.
Or if you need it bigger, take it to a print shop that can do it larger.

Another possibility would be to print on fabric sheets.
Not as nice as applique, but depending on the look you want, it could turn out quite nice.

Further, you could have fabric printed via Spoonflower or similar.

Paper piecing may be an option for some too.

I know I haven't given you a lot of help, but perhaps it will help get your ideas flowing.

Go to Google Images and type "masonic quilt" and you will get quite a few ideas.

QuiltE - I'm the daughter of a mason too! My dad was also a Shriner!

As to Masonic images, you want to look for a compass and square, the letter G, a level, trowel, gavel, and plumb. Some cool quilts are here:

I wish I could have made one of these quilts for my dad before he passed. I would have gone with applique or paper piecing. I did make a T-Shirt quilt for my mom as a memorial quilt and used his Shriner's shirts. He was on clown patrol and got a new one every year. There were tons in his closet! Sorry for the ramble, but good memories for me. Good luck with your quilt!

I found these websites while looking online. This website might help: http://nationalheritagemuseum.typepa...asonic-quilts/. This website has actual fabric: https://www.zazzle.com/masonic+fabric.

My son is a Mason and I made him a quilt this past Christmas. I did squares and found symbols on line but in embroidery. I did not know what the symbols meant but he did and he loved it. I googled 'embroidery mason' to find what I wanted. Good luck!

Thanks, ladies, for all the suggestions. I was figuring it would most likely be applique, but hadn't really decided yet. You've given me some good ideas, so I really appreciate your help!!
