help with items for sale

i'm sure i can figure out how to list an item but what happens next? how does a buyer contact you, how are you paid? can't find that type of info anywhere. i'm not very knowlegable when it comes to computers so i need help.also what do the abbreviations i've seen mean. thanks for your help. thank goodness i know enough to have found this site.

I'm doing my first sale this week, too.
To post the photos, click on "browse" at the bottom of the topic page, then "open" the jpg picture (that's what I use, at least)and attach it.
Interested buyers will PM (personal message) you, and you keep track of who asks first for each item and reply whether they get what they requested.
I gave my home address in reply and asked for a check or MO, since I have no experience with Paypal.

I bought something from a post and paid for it through Pay Pal. I private messaged the seller with the offer to buy she pm me back and toldme shipping rate. i hope this hel[s. If not I noticed that Admin says you can ask if you have other questions.

You can require paypal, check, money order, etc when selling items. It's just a matter of the seller's preference. I always pay with personal check and I've never had a problem. I've always sent the check and the sellers have always sent the item I purchased.
