Smile Border suggestions please

I have the first border on this quilt, but the second border was too busy and I was hoping for some suggestions from y'all. The print has a metalic gold print, which I picked up in the green/gold suede fabric. The other fabrics are all suede, picking out the colors in the print. The border looks black, but it is a blue/black suede. I would love to know what you'd do with this. Thanks!

Maybe a thin border of the gold and then a larger one like the first one.

Does it have to have additional borders to get it the size you want it? If not I would just leave it as it is and use the gold for the binding.

I agree with tesspug, or maybe the darkest blue and then the blue/black color but wider borders for the last two.

If you're trying to increase the size, I would add a thin border of gold and then a wider border of the dark fabric.

Gold or turquoise flange, whichever colour you want to highlight
... and then the same fabric as you used for the first border.
