Thread: Blanket stitch gone wonky, but think I've figured it out....

    Have you tried a piece with stabilizer only, one with infer facing only, to see which, if either is causing sticky balls on needle?

    Thank you for the great tip. There are some times when I wonder why I love quilting so much and it is when a problem like you've described creeps into your project. Keeping your machine and all of its parts clean is so important. I try to maintain a regular cleaning after each project and it has made life so much easier. The lint that collects around the bobbin is one culprit that I watch very closely as it caused one very unpleasant mess on an otherwise great project. You are a great detective and we thank you for this learning you have shared.
