Well it's offical. I've started yet another project.

My ten year old and fourteen year old sons wanted to work on a quilt with me this summer. So we decided that the Farmers Wife Sampler Quilt would be a great summer project. We are each going to work on it.

So here is #1

It actually came out he right size and all. Not the best colors but with out a stash, I'm working from hand me down scraps.

1 down 110 to go!!!

I like those colors together. Scrap quilts are the best anyway! :)

First of all congratulations to you for taking the time to spend quality time with your kids. I find this awesome.

I love the block you made and can't wait to see those your kids make. This will be an awesome quilt filled with lots of love and memories. Lucky you.

I love it...and what fun to do with your sons. The blue with red is especially eye-catching.

Oh, how fun! That's will be my quilt, when I get to it. I bought the book and fell in love! Please share more progress as you go. I'd love to see it!

Are each of your boys doing a quilt as well?
