I agree, too, but really like the umbrellas. Do you have enough for the back or can you piece it in typical Bonnie style?! It's going to be great!!

I agree with Bataplai.

Same here. I love the darling stars.

PS: What's "typical Bonnie style" for backing (from an earlier post)?

I agree with the smaller strip in blue to ramp it up and the brown to finish it off. Nice quilt.

I love the blue and the brown fabric too for the border. If you really want to use the umbrella fabric you could use it for the backing.

agree with this choice, IMHO. A very pretty quilt with traditional appeal. A narrow blue and wider brown fills the bill!
peace

I see you've already made up your mind but I'll add my 2 cents - narrow blue and larger brown. No umbrellas! BTW- it's a really nice top so far.

One more voice. Blue, brown and no umbrellas. You are going to have a wonderful quilt.

I think it needs a narrow stopper border so I would use the brown first, then a little wider turquoise and the print wider last. If you use the turquoise border first the turquoise of the quilt blends into it not making a sharp definition between quilt and the border.
