Default Boogie Woogie sheep layout

I am getting ready to put 2-1/2 inch white sashing between the rows and around the edge. I have separated the 2 purple and kind of spaced the blue apart for this layout. It is on regular white fabric to show the spacing but I will be cutting white on white to go in the top (to match the blocks background.) Does it look good or should I move someone?

What about using a bit a green for the ground?? I think your sheep colors are well balanced.

I really wanted to do green around each of the blocks but then I ran into a dilemma. Either having to use a dark backing to not look strange with green binding or add another white border after the green so I could use any colour binding or backing etc. That's why I settled on the white and I have a light backing fabric and I think I will bind it in the mauve from the one sheeps face. Next decision will be what colour thread. I think I will stitch in the ditch around each sheep and maybe match the thread colour to the body colour to quilt the bodies and face.

Will there be more sheep - or is this all you plan to make?

Update- well I cut and sewed the sashing and the white on white is a slightly different colour then the backgrounds. I thought it was all the same dye lot but apparently NOT! I also discovered I have one W on W piece in the block wrong side up, sigh. The shower is coming up and I have to continue rather then rip it apart. I still have to get it quilted and bound and hopefully this will be the end of my ill fortune on this baby quilt.

Too cute. I don't think anyone will notice a slight color difference
