Can someone tell me if the projects in the book are for beginners? Im looking something that easy to understand

Go to www.quilterscache.com
They have LOTS of quilt block patterns that are very simple. My first pieced quilt was made as a sampler with many different easy block patterns so I got that experience of making different designs. I chose 12 inch blocks and looked for ones without too many pieces. Good luck.

by Carol Doak

I still refer to it.

Look on ebay or amazon for a deal.

My first quilt is "Cotton Reels" on this website. It is a very easy pattern to make. Once you get to quilterscache, go to Blocks Galore, or just type that into google.

This is a fantastic site. Usually on the second page you can see how other people have made the same quilt with different colors and different borders.

You'll definitely love the site!

Found the following page that shows the actual quilts in the book. From the pictures, I would say that some of the quilts are easy but some are more in the intermediat range.
