Here I am again asking for your help with a border. Here are the blocks that I've done for a hunter's star (not sewn together yet) and have very little fabric left. Do I add a border or just leave it as is? If I do borders, what color?

I think it would look good either way. Personally, I prefer borders on mine. I'd do a narrow inner border and wider larger border. I would probably not use the color of the "star points" in the border though because it might take away from the center. Maybe the dark for inner border/binding and light for outer border. I usually lay them out and stare at them for awhile to see what jumps out at me. Border and binding colors are things I generally change my mind about at the end, so I rarely cut them out ahead of time.

I always think that a border adds to a quilt. I would use a narrow dark green and then a pale yellow. I am assuming that you don't need to make the quilt any bigger. Very pretty quilt, by the way.

The quilt is beautiful. I would use the light half of the
square for the inner border, 1 1/2 or 2 inches, and the
dark green for the outer border, maybe 4 to 6 inches.
I would do something that is just the finishing touch to
frame the blocks. Again, absolutely beautiful.

love your colors! if you don't use the star color in the borders, i believe it will make the stars pop.

I like borders, but it depends on how much fabric you have left and you also need for the binding.

I think it needs a border. It would be fine without one, but why do fine? right? Do great! I think I'd take it with me to some quilt shops and see if you can find a print with those colors in it. Or they may have some ideas.
Besides it's fun to show off your work.

  Very pretty Quilt. For some reason IMHO a darker outer border just seems to anchor a quilt. BrendaK
