    I agree. The skinny red with a bit wider black really frames the quilt. It also brings the red to the edge so the paisley blends very nicely. Very clean and finished looking. I have used that paisley in a couple black and white quilts that I wanted just bit of color -it is great fabric.

    Really like the paisley and agree with Fuzzy about the black and red borders...sets it off nicely!

    One more for paisley....the first one is lovely but it just doesn't go with the body of the quilt colourwise.

    Yes this! The introduction of a new dominate color takes away from the top.
