The addition of the narrow brown border stops the quilt and gives it a frame. It really improves the whole look and is much more finished. Your pattern is great and the fabrics wonderful. it will be beautiful when finished! Your Aunt will love it. Hope all is and goes well for her

The brown really softens up the sharpness of the pink. I love pink. It is a beautiful quilt.
