Yes. I do like the white border first. It sets off the star best.

Oh, and by the way, mytwopals is definitely no lady. He's a 100%, lady chasing, single man.

I LOVE the second picture. Play with size of each border, but that combination is beautiful.

My preference would be picture #2 with the first border being the white (same as background) fabric and with the white border being on all four sides. Of course, that is what I suggested on your original posting but haven't changed my mind. It is looking good.
