Your quilt is beautiful, including the three borders avgquilter. I think I'll add the border.

I love BQ patterns....thanks for the pictures. As for your question...I agree with the comments that do what looks good to you and helps you achieve the quilt size you want/need. Please post when you get it done!!!!
