Welcome to the Quilting Board!

I use Superior's Bottom Line in the bobbin - but has anyone used it as a top thread for quilting as well. If so, which needle is best?
I was just using it last night. It works great. I was using a regular needle. Can not remember the size, but I know it was nothing fancy. I like the thread for everything, because it is so thin that I think it helps the seams lay flatter. I like it for qiolting, especially when I don't want the quilting to show much.

I have a spool and it has lasted me a long time, you sure can get a lot on a bobbin with this thread.
Thanks Maria that's helpful. I shall have a go with a Quilting 75/11 needle. Like you, I don't want the quilting to overtake the particular quilt if you know what I mean (and it won't show the whoops so much!!)
the display lady for tin lizzie says she uses it often and likes it on top and bottom. regular needle.
Hi Katrine
I was admiring your pin cushions at cat-on-a-mac's Gallery.
Decided to come to your site to see pictures of your quilts (all lovely) and stumbled across this question
I am a fanatic Bottom Line user - piecing hand and machine., hand applique, quilting hand and machine.
My Bernina will take it top and bobbin - I use an 80/12 sharp or topstitch
Neither of my Jems - Gold or Platinum will take it on top, only the bobbin.
