Today I went to a few quilt stores to check out after Christmas sale!!!!! Ran into some friends while at another shop they suggested I check out this shop called Goin Quilting bought a few Fat Q's and a few pieces of Christmas fabric. My best buy was a new book I found called Cut and Fold Quilting by Carol Nartowicz's. Hope to make one of the quilts when I learn the technique.

a pic of the book

I have that book too. Love to rifle through it but the pattern method looks a bit intimidating.

That looks like a very interesting book. I especially like the pattern that you picked out and would love to know more about the process. I seem to keep acquiring books and adding to the list of things that I want to make.

My recent purchase was a book on quilts using a serger (my MIL gave me a wonderful serger that I haven't tried yet) and a book about applique that looks really good. At least I enjoy looking at them and maybe getting ideas. I'd have to quit work to get everything done and that isn't going to happen right now.

I love that, red and whites are so cute. That will be so much fun to do.
