    The bow one is actually the one I bought the pattern for but noticed that the other one kinda looked like the bow tucks that I had seen here. I thought that a "bow tuck" referred to the sides having strings that you tie.

    You are probably right. I just don't carry a purse anymore, but I liked the one with bows.

    I l;ike that McCall pattern real well! Add that front pocket and it would look about the same. Be sure to let us see the finished bag.

    I like that pattern from McCalls. I have the bow tuck pattern from Connecting Threads but that one would be cute to make too.

    Penny Sturges is the one who originated the Bow tucks pattern and her patterns are really good - I like the McCall tote made with charms with the bows - great look alike Bow tucks.
