I am looking for the brackets that you put on the part of a sewing machine table to lower it down inside the table so that it becomes a flat-bed. Any body know what they are called and where to purchase. I found one on the internet but it's not what i'm looking for.(too bulky). HELP!!

You might take a picture or diagram of what you are trying to do to a hardware store/Lowes/Home Depot and ask for help to accomplish this. :D:D:D (if you aren't looking for the mechanism to lift it up and down)

I just bought one this year for a custom cabinet my brother made for me. It was the airlift model, where you push on the machine, it has three positions. I bought mine from www.sewvacdirect.com.

My hubby just bought one of these and modified my old cabinet. I used it for the first time on my BIL's train quilt which was 56 x78 and it worked so much better with my machine down!
