Has anyone made the BQ3 by Maple Island Quilts. I bought the pattern but am having a hard time deciding on the main fabric.

I love their patterns and have made several but hadn't seen the BQ3...thanks. All I can suggest is the big block is perfect for a fabric that you just love and can't cut....

I have got the top done. It is only 4 blocks for a wallhanging. What do you think?

I have the new pattern too but haven't made it yet either. Have made several BQ quilts and just finished a BQ 2 quilt. I had to have the BQ 3 pattern, but not sure that I'm going to like it as well as the first two. If I ever get around to making one, I will post a photo. Good luck with yours.

I have not done the BQ or BQ2 but I really like the BQ3. It was difficult to choose which way to turn each block...too many choices. The four blocks took me 1 hour to cut and sew...so easy.

I really do like this quilt, but am wondering - is that diagonal piece cut with a template, or is it paper-pieced, or is it wonky? It seems to be consistant, so I am worried there is a template needed to cut it? Any insight into the pattern would be appreciated. Thanks
