Default Broke my sewing machine needle...in my finger!

I was happily quilting this afternoon when all of a sudden I got my finger in the way of the needle. Ouch! It went through the nail and broke off in my index finger. I had to get my husband and a pair of pliars to get it out. I don't recommend it.

Oh, that must have hurt. Getting queasy just thinking about it. Hope it isn't still throbbing.

Ouch! How did your husband handle it??? I've seen many a man hit the floor over something squeamish!

Oh I did that very same thing this summer. It hurt so badly at the time, but I was quite surprised that it didn't stay sore. It was weird for awhile when the nail grew out though.

Is tour Tetanus shot up to date? I would make sure and get one just to be on the safe side.

Yikes! I hope it's feeling better and you are back to yourself soon. Your description gave me the shivers! (Btw, your cat is really beautiful!)

Husband did quite well. A sense of caring and urgency mixed in with a little panic, but he was a trooper.
