Tetanus shot is current. I got one two years ago when I sliced the tip of my finger with my rotary cutter. My poor index finger is a quilting victim.

Ouch!! Hope everything heals okay. Plus I hope you didn't get any blood on the quilt you were working on.

oh my goodness. In a similar freak accident my significant other managed to ram a metal splinter from a friend's stool through his nail and it got stuck in the bone. A surgeon had to remove part of the nail to get the brittle piece of metal out that was stuck in his bone!

Luckily needles are stronger and your's came out all in one piece the first try!

Oh, wow, so sorry! I have done everything from cutting the side of my finger off, to dropping a portable on my big toe, but - thank heavens - I have never gotten a needle in my finger. Hope you are back to quilting quickly.

Oh man! I did that several years ago and had to wait for DH to get home to get it out with pliers too! What did I do in the mean time? Took pictures! lol. Hope you heal well/quickly!

Welcome to the club! We have jackets and everything, lol. Make sure your tetanus shot is up-to-date and get a hug and a piece of chocolate from hubby.
