Ok everyone,

I think I have narrowed the machines down to two.
These are the two that I am interested but I can't decide on which to get.

Now, the plus is the SE350 is also an embroidery machine and both can do Buttonholes and FMQ (which are the two features I wanted to have for sure!)

The price difference is CS6000i for $170 and the SE350 for $350.

I am willing to spend the extra money if I think it will be worth it.

I was just wondering what your personal reviews are on these machines.

I have read great reviews about both but would like some advice from fellow quilters!

Thanks,
Nikki

I have a Brother SE350 and l just love it! I do embroidery on it all the time. I do not use special thread just the 1.99 cones from Joanns and whatever I have on hand. It is such a smooth sewing machine compared to my old one. If you get it you will want to get the PED Basic so you can download patterns from the internet. I have hundreds of designs downloaded.

I have read about getting the PED basic. That purchase might have to wait a little but I like the idea of basically unlimited possibilities

i have the se350 and i just love my machine. very easy to learn how to use. i tried using my old machine and didnt realize how much the extras that the se350 has makes it even easier. the Auto cut for the thread is my favorite button.

I have the CS6000i. I love it! I can do FMQ on it. I also have a viking iris on top of it for embroidery, so if the other does this, you might want to consider for the extra money. My viking cost over $700 refurbished so it might be worth the extra $200.
