Default Brother ScanNCut2 3M350...anyone use this?

Has anyone tried the Brother ScanNCut2 3M350? It's supposed to be good for quilting, sewing, applique, along with many other uses. I received one as a Christmas gift and haven't opened it yet.

In general, the computerized cutting machines are great for applique as the sky is the limit for design choices, but they only cut one layer at a time. If you are doing lots and lots of the same patch, like lots of HSTs, a die cut machine may be a better choice as they can cut multiple layers of fabric

It may only cut one layer at a time but its fast. The sky is the limit on cutting anything, including your signature if you wanted. You'd be surprised. there are tons of you tubes on it with tons of great info and ideas, including an online place to design things you want to make
