Try sewingpartsonline.com I have gotten several things from them I didn't think I would be able to find but did. I I found parts for my Brother SQ-9000 which I thought since I got it at Walmart the parts I wanted would not be available, But there they were.

I called the Brother Customer Service 877 276 8437 to inquire about an issue I had with my Brother machine. They were very helpful & told me which item to buy. It was several dollars cheaper than I had found elsewhere & shipped it to me very quickly. I'm sure they will be a good resource to find out if they even have a straight stitch that will fit your machine. Good luck.

many newer machines have the left position as the default. if you have a straight stitch plate in and "forget" you will do damage to your machine as well as(possibly) yourself. I've done it myself with just the straight stitch foot(I now never leave it on the machine)

I understand what you're saying though-it would be nice to have the option. i would like one for my ULT but it's not available
