    Default this brother

I got a Brother sewing machen a will back. Do not think I'm liking it any more. When I do the free motion quilt it ok still not a lot of room . But the big thing is the feeder foot is not feeding that good good most the time not at all I have to pull to get it to go throw. The stiching is small no mater where I put the numbers at. But it just going to have to do .

    Things you might check:

Have you checked to see if there is lint or thread caught in your feed dogs?

Are you sure you have the presser foot down?

Does your machine have manually adjustable pressure on the needle bar / presser foot? If so try adjusting it very slightly - may need to try both ways.

Is thread getting hung up in your presser foot?

Sure there may be more but these are off the top of my head.

I do not see and stuff on the foot. I did love it at first to but when I start to do the quilt that when it go all messed up. I'm going to see if I can take all the bottom off. I do clean it but I never got the cover off where the foot is.

Check your manual, on some Brother machines when you set it to free motion the feed dogs go down & do not move-this is the normal way for free motion. The stitches are small when set to free motion because you are supposed to move the fabric, the machine doesn't move it. It sounds as though you set it to free motion & the machine is doing what it is meant to do in that setting.

Ever time I get done with a job I clean out the machine,Ok The cover where your foot or feeder is I could not get it off. I try over and over just could not move those screws. But I got it today HOLY MOLY what a mess this is why it would not move all the way up .
