    Brothers User-Tip

I just came back from SM dealer where I got my Brothers NX250 several years ago. I had a Janome before and have struggled a little with this machine. The one thing I missed most was "needle position" so that I could get a scant 1/4 inch. Long story short: #14 on my machine is a 1/4 inch with the proper foot but it is a generous 1/4 inch. Machine instructor told me after pushing #14 (which is a straight stitch) then push zigzag and the light at the bottom of the zz. That moves your needle position. Wallah!!! scant 1/4 inch. I'm attaching a picture. I hope this helps someone. She said it might not be in the manual as it has been translated from xxx to English and might have gotten lost in the translation.
