    Default Bucko Ironing Spray

Facebook just had info on Bucko Ironing Spray that you can buy at Amazon. They say it's better than spray starch. I use Niagara spray starch constantly (and Best Press) for my quilting. Has anyone used Bucko, and do you like it? Thanks for your feedback.

I bought it to try and I like it. Is it better than Best Press? No, but it works equally as well. I prefer the scents of Best Press, but Bucko is not unpleasant.

I really like Flatter spray. It is expensive for what it is though. I use Best Press because I have two gallons of it. LOL. I use Niagara a lot too. I haven't tried the Bucko and probably won't. I'm glad we have choices now instead of plain starch.

Thanks for your input. I may just continue with my Niagara starch and Best Press.

Jane...I don't use any starch except the aerosol Niagara. Not sure how the starch in water like my mom did when I was a kid in the 50s works. Supposedly this Bucko stuff doesn't leave residual 'stuff' like the aerosol. Who knows???

I tried it and didn't like it. The fumes made me cough and I just didn't think it worked as well as best press! I was so glad when I used it up and am back to best press!!

I use Sta Flo, diluted 1 part starch to 4 parts water. That works as well as Best Press, and costs .03 per bottle compared to more than $3 for Best Press. It flakes a little if you don't let it soak in, but those flakes disappear soon.

Hello Ladies, Never tried Bucko as I make my own spray with Vodka & Water and a scent if I like. It works as good as Best Press and a whole lot cheaper, have my quilting friends using it also.

Never heard of Bucko Spray. I just use the spray starch at Walmart in the turquoise can. Never have had a problem with it and it is only 99 cents a can. Sorry, I am on a budget.
