Can someone explain how the buddy list works? I don't have any buddies but ....just in case I do get some.

Click the name of the buddy, it opens up a different window.
Then you will see, add to buddy list.

Just play around and try, you will find it.

I like to use it for members I want to see all their posts, ie: someone who does beautiful hand quilting.

Oh add me to your list. I have a long buddy list. Just a great aide in finding people you want to keep up with and following their posts, you can also get updates on your email for those. If you click on someone's board name, you want to add to your list, then it says "add to buddy list" and you click on it and poof, you have started your list. You can also go up to the top and click on buddy list, type in the board name of the person you want to add and then you have it that way too. I believe your buddy list names even appear darker on the list at the bottom of the home page of who is online with us at the time. Have fun and get more buddies. Sorry so long, I just love how this "Buddy" system works.

I use it to see which of my friends is online. It's a great list for all kinds of things, like people above have said.
